As a member of the Board of Directors for the Will Rogers Institute, one of my contributions was to produce and direct the summer trailers that appeared in thousands of movie theaters all over the county and raised millions of dollars for this exceedingly worthy charity. I had the opportunity to direct a number of huge Hollywood stars for these pieces including Mel Gibson, John Travolta, Tommy Lee Jones, Charleton Heston, and many more. This one was such a joy since Anthony Hopkins is one of the greatest human beings I have ever had the pleasure to meet and work with. We shot this 35mm film on the back lot at Universal Studios. The house in the opening shot was the home of Beaver Cleaver in Leave it to Beaver, and toward the end of the piece, over Anthony's shoulder, you can see 1313 Mockingbird Lane, the former "creepy and spooky" residence of The Munsters.
